Dead-Standing and wind-fallen Old Growth Douglas Fir is salvaged from old logging grounds and remote areas of British Colombia. These trees range in age from 400 to over 600 years old and have very tight grain characteristics. Natural mineral stains appear in some of the older timber offering an added hint of blue and purple. Tight and straight vertical grain as well as select mixed grain flooring is milled specially from these woods.
